Ekkehart Ekkegaard is out of the Wolves’ playoff series with the Philadelphia Flyers after injuring his knee.
He suffered the injury in the third period of a 4-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Coach John Tortorella announced Ekkeheart Ekkealdors knee injury Monday.
“I can’t say anything right now.
He’ll be out three weeks,” Tortorell said.
Tortorella said Ekkeheard Ekkehards knee injury is not serious.
“We don’t know what he suffered, but it is not a serious injury,” he said.
The Wolves won Game 6, 2-1, in Philadelphia, defeating the Flyers 4-3.
Tortso said Ekkard was injured while skating on the ice.
Ekkeard, who was acquired from the Boston Bruins in a trade that sent defenseman Matt Niskanen to Boston, scored the game-winner in the shootout.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Ekkehed was averaging a goal per game in the NHL, but was limited to 12 on the season.
